Dosewallips Tour

One of our most popular kayak tours is our 2 hour round-trip paddle to the Dosewallips River Estuary. On this tour we depart from Pleasant Harbor and paddle to the estuary where we will watch wildlife and explore the lower river channels.  Our Biologist or Naturalist Guide will teach you about the wildlife we see and talk about the natural history of the Hood Canal.  The Dosewallips Estuary is home to up to 100 harbor seals, dozens of bald eagles, blue herons, salmon, and much more.  If your lucky we’ll spot Brinnon’s herd of Roosevelt Elk grazing on the banks.
